Newcastle Antiques Fair 2015

The organisers of Antiques and Vintage Fairs have announced plans for the Newcastle Antiques Fair 2016. The Third Annual Newcastle Antiques and Collectables Fair will take place at the Newcastle Exhibition Centre, Brown Road, Newcastle NSW 2292.

The 2016 Newcastle Antiques Fair is expected to feature top Australian dealers exhibiting all manner of antiques, vintage and retro goods. All the vendors from the 2015 are expected to return barring unforeseen circumstances, and most of the dealers from 2014 will be on hand as well. This means that fairgoers can expect a huge variety in the goods on offer. Previous years’ offerings have included included glass and ceramics of the quality seen in museums, rare Australian colonial cedar furniture and the quirky and unusual, as well as some rare and extraordinary conversation pieces such as a Travilla gown designed for Marilyn Monroe for the 1953 film How to Marry a Millionaire, for which William Travilla received a 1954 Academy Award nomination, or the first official Miss Australia trophy, presented to Miss Beryl Mills from Western Australia in 1926.

There will once again be a $1,000 Lucky Door Prize for one lucky winner.
